General Information
The MTeM Conference is regarded as a high-level ranking conference in the promotion of research and teaching in Manufacturing Engineering. It also serves as a forum to disseminate information to all branches of the manufacturing industries on the most recent and relevant innovations.
Being established 53 years ago, The Technical University of Cluj-Napoca is the most important Transylvanian technical university, with its 8 faculties and 53 departments. A total number of 750 academic staff and 12000 students are currently involved in training and research activities.
The first MTeM Conference was organized in 1991 in cooperation with the Mechanical Factory of Cugir.
Due its success, the organizers decided to change the conference into an biannual international scientific meeting:
